GTHC Predicts, Bournemouth at home
Fuck, he only has us down to draw!...........We will though, 2-0 COYI

I was at Anfield on Sunday to see West Ham's 4-0 defeat by Liverpool, and they were far too open.

New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has bought a lot of attacking players and probably wants to play in a way that gives his side's fans something to get excited about.

But if they are going to keep leaving the back door open like that all season, they are going to be in trouble.

If Pellegrini had set up in 4-5-1 and sat deep, I would have understood, but Liverpool carved them open almost at will - and the scoreline could have been a lot worse.

Bournemouth are not a team I consider to be one of the strongest on the road, but they always pick up some decent away points and I quite fancy them to get something here.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

I hope the defence tightens up, from lat week. If they don’t, he is being optimistic.

I'm not 100% sure that a high back line is a bad tactic per se, but it needs to be done properly.

A half-arsed attempt at it leads to disaster.

If we can't be coached into doing it right, sticking with it is going to lead to lots of goals, but not in the FOR column

1-1 isn’t a bad shout. Pelly tries to play his favoured 4-2-2-2, but comes unstuck as Bournemouth outrun our midfield and their keeper has a blinder against Arnie and Anderson.

I don’t care if we scrape a win, this new team is going to take time to find its collective feet.
This is what bothers me about this fixture, Bournemouth have gone about their business with minimal fuss and no sweeping changes to the set up, but decent additions that will make them a tough test.

Hope we don’t get sucker punched.

This is a real acid test of where we are at the moment and what we've spent all our money on this summer. I think we'll be good value for a 2-0 win.

"Liverpool were impressive against the Hammers, even if you take into account they were up against quite ordinary opposition, but it will be interesting to see how they get on in a much more competitive game."

He really does fucking hate us, doesn't he.

Apparently the back four has been practising the high line on the edge of the penalty area all week.
Good luck with that,Pelle.

We SHOULD have a lot more of the ball tomorrow.

With our attacking threat i fancy us to score minimum 2.

It's a case of have we learned our lesson from last week defensively.

You know we;re going to go for it through, which is nice. I'm sure a lot of Hammers are excited about getting over there tomorrow.

Team really hasn't settled down, and a draw would be a good result.

Our record against Bournemouth since they came up is not great.

A draw is quite likely to be fair to the thatch headed one.
